The Salvation Army of Greater Augusta Gears Up for Fall Auto Auction

Auction Day Registration 8:00am, Auction Begins at 10:00am

The auction will consist of over 50 cars, trucks, boats, jet skis, and scooters. New to this auction is the addition of the Feature Car. The Feature Car is a silver 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis with very low mileage. Customers are encouraged to visit the auction yard during the three Preview Days, during which time they can view the inventory, look under the hood, and start the vehicles. Preview Days for the October 6 auction are October 3, 4, and 5 from 8:00am to 6:00pm. There is a $5 fee to register for the auction. The Salvation Army Auto Auction is one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year. Proceeds from the auction directly support social services for those in need in the greater Augusta area. Programs such as the free Residential Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation, emergency shelter, Soup Line, and Job Skills Training will benefit from the money raised.
